I was so excited when we received the Lululun Pure series.
Lululun Pure is the new and improved version of the famous Lululun facial sheet mask. When you go to Japan, you will see the blue, pink, and white packaging of these masks in almost every, if not all, コンビニ (Konbini) convenience stores, drug stores, tourist shops, and supermarkets.
What's great about these improved formulas is that they're free from alcohol, fragrance, mineral oils, and colorant. Which makes them suitable for every skin type. YAAYYYY!!
The sheet has a 3 layered sheet which makes them kinda thick and doesn't rip easily when you unfold it. It is a plus, I must say! Since some of the facial sheet masks are kinda thin.
The pink Lululun has a couple of active ingredients such as soybean lecithin, cranberry, lactic acid, and more.
I couldn't choose which one I wanted to try first, but I listened to my skin and found that the pink one would be perfect for me.
My skin was kinda dry and dull. I was in the hospital for a couple of days and the hospital aircon air kinda dried out my skin, plus the fact I couldn't do a normal skincare routine and the weather changed. All that made my skin kinda mehh 🫤
I've been using the masks 7 days in a row, 4 times in the morning and 3 times in the evening. I find it easier to mask in the morning but I wanted to see the effect overnight as well.
It definitely gave my skin the moisturizing boost that I needed. I liked how my skin looked calm and well-hydrated.
After 2 days, my skin didn't feel itchy, dry, and tight anymore. My healthy glow came back and so did my confidence. Yayy me!
I love that all the masks are well-drenched with essence. And I love how easily-absorbed and lightweight the essence is.
So don't worry about drying out sheets! I must say that Japanese bulk masks in general have never disappointed me.
The only thing I didn't like about these masks was the fitting! It has small eyes opening. The mask itself is a bit too big for me and I do have a round-shaped head.. lol 🥲 But luckily they do have small cuts on both sides, so you can fit the mask easily.
Overall, I would highly recommend these sheet masks, if you want to enjoy masking but don't want to spend a lot of time. And if you're looking for a mask that delivers the moisture your skin needs!
